Are you looking at re-entering the workforce after a significant time away from employment? Entering the workforce for the first time? Or do you feel like you need to brush up on some things to feel more confident moving into your new position? Ready, Set, Success will help you to feel prepared and capable in the workplace.
After the initial 4-week classroom component, you’ll be supported in a personalized job search with our Job Developer.

Who is the program for?
RSS is intended for folks who have been out of the workforce for a long time, or are entering it for the first time.
What is the program about?
RSS focuses on the social aspect of getting a job, the “fine lines” of getting employment, and more career-based information.
Who can enroll in RSS?
RSS is open to Nova Scotian residents over the age of 18.
Do I have to take any other programs before taking RSS?
No, however we do encourage folks to start with OSC (One Step Closer) and BOSS (Building on Self-Awareness & Self-Confidence) programs first before considering working towards employment.
What's the next step after completing RSS?
After completing RSS, clients work with our Job Developer to decide if they are ready to pursue employement, or another opportunity such as education or volunteering.
