The ASSET Program - Acquiring Self-Confidence and Social Skills in Support of Employment
reachAbility's ASSET program started in August 2005 to help person with disabilities reach their full potential as they prepare to enter the workforce. It is a five-day, confidence and communication skills building course. ASSET is designed to increase the participant's self-confidence so that they can be more successful in finding and keeping a new job.
The SYCLE Program - Manage Everyday Conflict and Communicate More Effectively
reachAbility's SYCLE program is committed to supporting clients as they reach their full potential and learn to manage conflict and practice effective communication skills over 5 days in a 30 hour classroom environment.
The Success 20 Program - A 20 day Program Combining Work Experience with Skill Building.
reachAbility's Success 20 program has been developed to support clients of the Employment Support and Income Assistance (ESIA) program to identify and address the barriers that have obstructed the transition to successful, meaningful, and sustainable employment.
The 4-Youth Program
reachability's 4-Youth Program, previously ran from August 2005 to February 2006, and started up again in April 2007. It is a hands-on, employment training program for youths (aged 18-30) living with disabilities who wish to become ready to work in an office environment. It is often their first job, contact with a working office, and their first wage. The 4-Youth program builds strong social, interpersonal, and IT skills, while giving guidance and direction on acceptable office behavior.
