Natasha Chestnut is reachAbility's SYCLE Coordinator. She has a certificate in Human Services and an honours degree in Psychology. Natasha worked as a Recreation Coordinator at a senior citizen's complex, and volunteered at the Attention Deficit Association, before working at reachAbility in the 4-Youth program.

She was then kept on to work as an assistant for the ASSET Coordinator. Natasha was responsible for teaching some of the classes and helping to develop the program, and was then recommended for this position, when the previous ASSET Coordinator left the organization. Natasha truly enjoys all aspects of her job and says "There is nothing more gratifying or uplifting than knowing you are helping others."

Natasha would like to obtain her masters degree in psychology, going to school on a part-time basis while continuing working at reachAbility. She loves spending time with her partner, family, friends, and golden retriever "Ollie."

"As a person living with a disability, I have definitely experienced my fair share of obstacles. The great thing about working at reachAbility is the level of awareness and understanding in regards to being an employee with a disability. My work environment has allowed me to stay focused on my abilities and identify simple accommodations that are beneficial for me. Through my experiences at reachAbility, I have become more comfortable with my own disability and have gained new knowledge of other persons living with disabilities in our community".
